“Stop Wasting Time on Who you Should Be”

Meet Kelly Shea, Director, for the R4R (recruiting for recruiters) division of Russell Tobin. Kelly has been with the firm for 7 years and has been an inspiration for those inside and outside of the firm – especially to other women within the organization.

“Kelly is a critical element to Russell Tobins growth. She’s consistent, committed and kind, and always exactly where she needs to be for her team, her peers and the company as a whole. I respect her ability to know exactly what needs saying and when. She exercises restraint while also doing what has to be done. I always look forward to meetings and conversations with Kelly and cannot imagine this firm without her,” says Minneapolis Director, Jenny Davis.

In honor of Women’s History Month, Kelly shared with us some of the women that she finds inspiring and advice that she has for other women to continue breaking glass ceilings.

“Some of the women I find inspiring are Brene Brown, Mary Barra, Arianna Huffington and Sheryl Sandberg. They are trailblazers in the business world, but it does not stop there. They are ideal role models by living and creating awareness on how women can have positive impact in all aspects of life, should they choose,” Kelly says, “I think it is important to embrace who you are, unapologetically and stop wasting time on who you should be. Have the courage to be imperfect and still show up to your arena. Surround yourself with a network of inspiring, fearless women because by design we are not meant to go it alone.”

Happy Women’s History Month – here is to all of you women who continue to break glass ceilings!
