Are you a highly motivated Environmental Occupational Health and Safety & Sustainability (EOHSS) professional? We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled EOHSS Advisor to join our dynamic team! This is an exciting opportunity to work on multi-disciplinary and framework projects at a leading Bio-Pharmaceutical facility in Dublin.

About the Role

As an EOHSS Advisor, you will work closely with an experienced team of professionals to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies. Your role will be crucial in maintaining a strong safety culture and implementing best practices on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement company health, safety, quality, and environmental policies, procedures, and management systems.

• Advise and guide the on-site project team to ensure compliance with legislation and company procedures.

• Promote a positive Health & Safety culture among Project Management, Sub-contractors, and direct staff.

• Maintain and foster strong collaborative relationships within the project team.

• Ensure that PSCS (Project Supervisor for the Construction Stage) duties are being fulfilled by contractors.

• Conduct weekly inspections and generate EOHSS compliance reports.

• Develop and enforce robust site EOHSS procedures to meet statutory and environmental obligations.

• Review and update critical EOHSS plans and documents, such as H&S Plans, Environmental Plans, and Traffic Management Plans.

• Lead and facilitate EOHSS meetings on-site.

• Collaborate with the Onsite Project team, PSDP, and design team as necessary.

• Assess and comment on Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Lift Plans to enhance safety measures.

• Mentor and coach contractors on EOHSS best practices.

• Communicate with local authorities and external regulatory bodies regarding EOHSS matters.

• Investigate accidents, compile reports, and recommend corrective actions.

• Support the organization’s vision to ensure workplace safety, employee well-being, and environmental sustainability.

What We’re Looking For:

• A recognized Health & Safety qualification.

• Experience in an EOHSS role.

• Strong motivation and problem-solving skills.

• Previous experience in the Bio-Pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.

• Solid understanding of PSCS contractor responsibilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Capability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

• Proven ability to build strong working relationships and manage stakeholders effectively.
