Description:    

Title: Accountant/Financial Analyst

Pay: 45/hr. on w2

Location: Remote

Job Type: 5+ Months with extensions

What you’ll get to do:
•          Management reporting and variance analysis in support of month-end and quarter-end closes
•          Transact financial and statistical journal entries with an understanding of impacts to the general ledger
•          Develop key analytical metrics and generate new reporting to improve financial transparency and support productivity initiatives
•          Develop and maintain knowledge of various financial and reporting systems, namely Netsuite and TM1
•          Create a budget for short-range and long-range planning, and communicate it effectively to relevant business partners
•          Ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects as required

Skills and Experience:
•          University Degree in Finance or Accounting is required
•          3-5 years of finance or accounting experience
•          Forecasting and budget experience preferred
•          Demonstrate technical proficiency in Excel, Access, and financial systems (preferably Netsuite, and/or the IBM suite)
•          A sound understanding of finance and accounting principles
•          Strong quantitative/analytical skills with the ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing, with management and business process owners
•          Must be very detail oriented.

Rate/Salary: $45.45/hour
