Accounting – Investment Operations Specialist Contract

Russell Tobin and Associates is currently hiring Accounting Specialist in Milwaukee, WI for our Fortune 500 Client.Job Description:

Title: Accounting Specialist
Location: Milwaukee, WI 53212 (Hybrid)
Duration: 9 months (with the possibility of extension) 

The contractor will be primarily working on our department’s accounting reconciliation items. This task requires the contractor to work with internal teams and administrators to resolve the reconciliation breaks. The person in this role will need strong communication and collaboration skills. The contractor will also be assisting with emailing daily cash sheets to clients using an access database.

Resposibilities:

• Performs a variety of operational duties within an assigned area of Investment Operations.
• Researches and resolves operational and/or accounting exceptions, some of which may involve extensive review.
• Interfaces with Investment and other internal personnel to resolve issues and ensure efficient service to customers.
• Ensures the accuracy of account statements and information.
• Verifies account entries, ensures totals balance and prepares correcting adjustments as needed.
• Ensures that all documentation requirements are satisfied.
• Responds to telephone or written inquiries and performs research necessitated by special requests from customers, brokers or internal employees.

Rate/Salary: 25.17
