Accounting Manager (Remote) Contract NEW

Accounting Manager / Contract / 100% Remote

Duties:

• Responsible for managing the revenue accounting function for certain business/product lines.
• Ensures accounting month-end close deliverables are completed accurately and timely.
• Evaluates and makes appropriate improvements to internal accounting processes ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the organization.
• Assess and implement proper revenue recognition process for new products and business initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• 7+ years exp in Accounting (month-end close, externally reporting financials, etc.)
• 4+ years accounting leadership experience 
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong understanding of internal controls for financial supporting SOX compliance process
• Revenue Accounting experience – proficient in ASC 606 / US GAAP
• Enterprise project implementation experience (participated in new and/or existing product implementations)
• Strong process improvement experience
• Highly organized & properly plan, focus & prioritize 
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills, ability to address complex concepts and issues, present analysis & financial results & effectively collaborate
• Full P&L management experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• CPA
• Billing experience
• Project management skills or knowledge of project management
• New product launches experience
• Experience with Workday Financial and/or Zuora Billing is a plus

Rate/Salary: $80-$85 per hour (W2)
