Staff Accountant Full Time

Position: Staff Accountant

Location: Austin TX

Duration: Permanent 

 

The Role:

The Staff Accountant role perfect for an individual who has at least 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable.  The ideal candidate will complete payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, and secures revenue by verifying and posting receipts.  The Staff Accountant performs accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable and cash receipt transactions and resolves discrepancies.

 

Our Ideal Candidate:

1-2 year’s experience in AP/AR role

Logistics experience preferred but not required

Associate degree or higher with a concentration in accounting preferred

1-2 years accounting experience with thorough knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures

Proficiency in MS Excel required

Experience with general ledger functions and month end close process preferred

Accuracy and attention to detail
