Tax Content Analyst Contract

Global Financial Technology Company is seeking a Tax Content Analyst
Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid)
Contract

Responsibilities:

• Review and understand current and proposed product and service offerings to proactively identify compliance issues and prioritize research based on highest impact and business needs
• Research, analyze, and summarize tax issues, regulatory issues, and relevant legislation
• Synthesize compliance requirements based on statute, regulations, administrative rules and case law to make recommendations on issues of high complexity
• Proactively engage, solicit and incorporate feedback and input from team and stakeholders, resolving issues collaboratively
• Lead with innovative solutions, outline potential viable options, and make definitive recommendations

Required Skills :

• Qualifications Exceptional statutory and case law research skills 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to document research concisely with clear conclusions and recommendations
• Advanced degree in a tax field or law is preferred; related tax or legal experience considered in substitution
• Ability to work independently, with all levels, and within a strong team environment
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, often under time pressures.
• Strong project management and organizational skills Able to effectively prioritize individual and team work to ensure delivery of the highest customer value

Rate/Salary: $40-$48 per hour DOE
