Pay Range: $50-$52/hour on W2

Location: South San Francisco, CA 94080

Contract Length: Till Sep 20, 2023

Description:

• Provides advanced administrative support to relieve and assist executive, administrative, line and staff managers of complex details and advanced administrative duties.
• May handle special projects and execute research and data analysis tasks. Analyses problems, determines approach, compiles and analyses data and prepares reports and recommendations.
• Coordinates activities between departments and outside parties.

Job Description:

• This is an opportunity for someone to contribute at the level of a Senior or Principal Administrative Business Partner who will provide advanced level support across a variety of administrative and operational activities for the Department with ~100 members and several senior leaders including the Vice President and a number of Directors.
• This position will take on an important role in proactively lead and contribute directly to all administrative duties for the department.
• The incumbent will be regarded as the subject matter expert for relevant administrative processes and responsibilities.
• The engagement of this position will be managed by a Senior Leader (Director+) of the department.
• Key responsibilities include (not limited to): complex scheduling, communication (draft emails) support, handling highly confidential information, lead, plan, and execute internal/external events of various scales, being a thought partner with leadership to understand the pulse of employee engagement in the department, utilize office systems, applications and programs to effectively produce reports, facilitate communication and collaboration and contribute to routine or ad hoc analytical work.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5 or more years related professional administrative, operations or project management experience (experience gained in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry is strongly preferred)
• Previous experience working in a large, complex global organization strongly preferred.
• Must have previous successful track record of handling confidential and/or sensitive information with good judgement and discretion.
• Demonstrated track record to plan, coordinate, organize and prioritize work within and across functional groups and execute strategically.
• Actively creates a collaborative and productive climate. Ensures ideas, opinions and the expertise of others are elicited when making decisions and resolves complex issues and conflicts.
• Promotes accuracy and attention to detail of work systems and procedures, fosters a continuous improvement mindset.
• In depth knowledge of collaboration tools (including Gmail, gCal, gSlides, gMeet, ZOOM)
• Bachelor’s degree minimum
