Job Title : Product Leader/Associate Product Manager

This Associate Product Manager position will lead the product strategy and roadmap a portfolio of beta, gamma, and alpha radiometric detection instrumentation (RRD) and accompanying software in the drug discovery, academic and environmental markets, specifically fulfilling daily requests from various PKI functions and customer needs.  Drives the development of business plans, assesses market penetration, and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue, and market share.  Consolidates broad concepts and business strategies into structured product marketing plans. Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. Establishes pricing strategies and develops marketing tools for successful product introductions. Communicates customer feedback to engineering, manufacturing, and sales to enhance the RRD product line.  Additionally, this position will help support product definition and business plans with joint departments for our market leading cellular imaging and analysis portfolio. 

Responsibilities:

• New product development and sustaining product oversight.
• Strong collaboration with R&D to deliver product roadmap. 
• Set strategic direction and drive execution on multi-generational product strategy, roadmaps, quality, technology additions and margin improvement projects.
• Keeping close to the market trends and assess viability of new technologies.
• Develop relationships with key opinion leaders across the globe.
• Monitors competitive landscape, aligning strategy and tactics to drive growth.
• Cross functional partnering for problem solving with our customers, operations, quality, sales, etc.  Aid to remove any barriers to growing business sales and expanding the portfolio.
• Drive continuous improvement processes cross functionally to drive top line growth, margin improvement and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Requires a BA/BS, preferably in business or scientific disciplines, 3 plus years’ experience in relevant roles.
• Familiarity with radiometric detection or cellular imaging is required
• Strong relationship building abilities both with internal and external customers
• Strong business acumen, analytical, decision making, communication and influencing skills.
• Must be able to accomplish results in a cross-functional team environment, exhibiting formal and informal leadership skills, strong goal / results orientation and strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated strong success in current role
• Willing to further education/knowledge in product management
• Travel required will be 25%, able to travel domestically & internationally
