What are we looking for in our Project Manager?
Russell Tobin & Associates has partnered with a Premier Construction Company to find a Project Manager for their office in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area. This is a full time, direct hire position with a competitive base salary and full benefits.
As a Project Manager you will ultimately oversee the entirety of the projects from preconstruction through completion. The goal is to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to pre-established specifications. The Project Manager will primarily focus within the commercial and K-12 projects. This role is located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all safety compliance and quality programs are being executed on the project site
- Actively participate in bidding and pre-construction services
- Represent company as the client’s primary contact, openly and confidently communicate with all other parties involved with the project, establishing trust and rapport with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Maintain strict control over the budget and keep project on schedule, ensuring ongoing profitability
- Execute subcontracts and purchase orders and approve subcontractor invoices and change requests.
- Negotiate contract changes with the client.
- Mentor and train others to ensure their ongoing career growth and development.
- Implement new idea and be an active member on the team
Qualifications:
- 5-10 Years of experience in commercial construction (2+ years in a PM role)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction or Engineering preferred
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent and professional written and verbal communication skills
Salary: $125K-$130K
