UX Writer Contract

A multinational technology company is searching for a UX Writer to work on their suite of video apps.

Contract: 1 Year

Location: Remote/ NYC/CUL/SCV

Pay Range: $95-105/ hourly

We’re seeking a UX writer who’s passionate about advancing the state of listening experiences. This UX Writer will work with a nimble team that’s building the features and future of Podcasting, exploring ways to develop an interface that serves the needs of users and creators.

Responsibilities:

• Content naming for Video Apps (Final Cut Pro, Motion, Compressor, Clips/iMovie)
• UX writing support across all Video Apps (Final Cut Pro, Motion, Compressor, Clips/iMovie)
• Review/editing of Localization strings
• Boiling down complex systems into coherent, concise, and compelling narratives, interface copy, user experiences, and brand strategies.
• Supporting Documentation process for spec delivery
• Helping to maintain Product & Design standards and best practices

Requirements:

• Have an unrelenting passion for user-focused product experiences.
• Integration with X-LOB design development
• Experience with subscription services
• Oscillate between left- and right-brained writing, from storytelling to systematic thinking.
• Know how to work with and create wireframes and functional specs.
• Can write from scratch, edit existing copy, and think beyond the written word with input from multiple team members.
• Deliver passionate and impactful presentations at all levels of an organization.
