Customer Operations Specialist Contract to Hire NEW

Our client, a Fortune 500 company, specializing in financial services and products headquartered out of Saint Paul, MN, is looking to bring a Broker-Dealer Specialist onto their team!

Contract Duration: 4 months + Contract to Hire

Location: Saint Paul, MN (Hybrid – 1 day onsite)

Work Schedule: 8:15am – 5:00pm CST

Pay: $23 -$26

Position Notes: 

The individual needs to be punctual and be able to provide support over the phone for the entirety of their day. Calls are 95% from financial professionals, and the other 5% are from customers. The manager emphasized the need for someone who is polite and patient and who enjoys being on the phone for the entire day. The candidate selected for this role will initially focus on filing tax season work. 

Experience working with broker-dealers or banking experience is a huge plus. The candidate would preferably be familiar with various financial concepts; e.g. IRAs, trust, trustee, ACH, and 1035 exchange (to name a few). 

Summary:

This customer operations support team is the service center for broker-dealers’ Financial Services. The team provides routine external customer-facing servicing and administration support ensuring that good customer relations are maintained, and customer business and issues are resolved fairly and effectively. Taking incoming calls, mostly from financial professionals and a few clients, with questions about how a process works, form requirements, moving funds, online access, and more. Would also process address changes on a few different systems and provide some other paper-based reviews.

Duties:
Taking incoming phone calls to resolve callers’ questions or needs.
Process requests and data entering.
Working with internal teams to resolve issues and coordinate the completion of tasks.
