Battery Lab Technician (Technician IV) Contract

Job Title: Battery Lab Technician

Location: Cupertino, CA 95014

Duration: 12 months (possible extension)

Work shift: 1st  shift

 

 

Job description:

 

1) Building of developmental battery cells (slurry casting, cutting, and punch out metal foils)

2) Putting developmental cells into foam pressure fixtures

3) Polymer film characterization and quality control (thickness and uniformity measurement)

4) Quality control of liquids (measurement of viscosity, density, and conductivity)

5) Cleaning of utensils (washing glassware, Teflon molds, bottles, funnels, lids, stirrers)

6) Drying of salts (high vacuum, oven, molecular sieve)

 

Skills:

 

Conscientious, willing, and trainable. Good hand dexterity

 

Education: Associate degree or higher

Rate/Salary: $22/hr to $32/hr
