Project Executive – McKinney Full Time

Russell Tobin & Associates has partnered with a Large Construction Company and looking for a Project Executive  for their office in McKinney, TX.  This is a full time, direct hire positions with a competitive base salary and full benefits.

The Project Executive will support the Project Management and Team by providing expertise in all things construction.   This position provides high-quality supervision and requires sound decision making while overseeing and guiding individuals who are handling all project management aspects of the construction process.  A Project Executives goal is to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to pre-established specifications

 Responsibilities

• Manage & support company initiatives and goals in respective region
• Support business development efforts by attending current & future client meetings
• Support preconstruction process & services
• Regularly report to clients & board members on project progress
• Serve as a relationship builder with subcontractors
• Serve as a project ambassador to manage client needs to ensure that expectations are met
• Communicate with team & clients to resolve contract disputes & mitigate the impact of construction issues so that contractual obligations are fulfilled
• Attend regional PPR Meetings to review project budgets & projected profitability
• Determine manpower assignments for each project in their respective region
• Set targets, objectives & responsibilities for all supervised staff
• Assist in the development of department based training programs
• Serve in a mentor capacity
• Recommend policy & procedure improvements
• Maintain involvement in industry organizations

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Construction Management/Science
• 15+ years in Construction Industry preferred
• 10+ years working for a General Contractor
• Experience overseeing K-12 projects preferred
• Verbal and written communication
• Time management and organizational skills
• Able to handle high stress situations
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Professionalism in attitude and action
• Works well with individuals at all levels

“Annual salary of $150,000-$160,000 per year, based on experience”
