Supply Chain Program Manager (Demand Planner II) Contract

Job description:

This position is responsible for the management of Client’s global retail programs in channel points of sale. The Supply Chain Program Manager will be responsible for working with multiple teams across the organization to drive the Change Management forum.

Key Qualifications

5+ years Operations experience, preferably in a high tech or computer-related industry. Prior experience in project management, product planning, production control, inventory management, or production/manufacturing operations is strongly preferred.

Combine a working knowledge of world-class supply chain practices, strong analytical capabilities, and business savvy.

Must be able to exert tactful influence in a matrixed organization – must be a strong team player and communicator.

Comfortable presenting to executive management.

Ability to think both strategically and tactically, a persistent attention to detail, ability to work with a high degree of ambiguity and a high level of comfort in working with large quantities of data.

Proficiency in Excel and Keynote. Storytelling a plus.

Description

Serve as the Worldwide Supply Chain Program Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues, gaps in processes and critical issues.

Lead bi-monthly Change Management and Run-the- Business meetings

Improve tools and processes to more efficiently manage changes related to fixtures or 3D merchandising elements

Partner closely with Demand Planning, Corporate Procurement, & Marketing to evaluate pricing, lead time and cut-over timing.

Create timelines, track key milestones, and proactively communicate risks

Evaluate risks, plan and implement contingencies to mitigate.

Perform ad-hoc costing and supply chain analysis for internal customers

Publish and manage documentation to ensure all team members are aligned.

Communicate with internal and external teams.

You’ll bring experience in supply chain optimization and program management.

Understand Client’s reseller channel programs and work closely with Business Partners to develop support structures and manage ongoing and future programs.

Drive operational excellence and consistency across all regions through the implementation of standard business planning processes and tools.

Competencies and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field

3+ years in fulfillment, planning, or operations

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Very high attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Advanced proficiency in Excel

Project Management and/or Supply Chain certifications are a plus

Rate/Salary: $43/hr to $53/hr
