Marketing Associate (Ecommerce Marketplace) Contract

Job Title: Marketing Associate (eCommerce Marketplace)
Pay Rate: $15/hr – $20/hr, based on relevant experience
Duration: 1 – year long W2 contract with potential to extend or convert
Location: Rigby, ID – Hybrid (onsite for training and then flexibility to be remote up to 2 days/week) *Local Candidates Only
Hours: PT (20-30 hours/week), but also interested in viewing FT candidates who would like to work up to 40 hours/week.

Shift: Between 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri

PREFERRED BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

  • Marketing experience
  • Ecommerce selling experience (ebay) would be really helpful

JOB SUMMARY

The eCommerce Marketplace Associate is responsible for listing, pictures, customer service for new and used apparel. Assist in building and growing the company brand on eBay marketplace. Work on creating compelling listings that will attract attention and sell the products. Help customers understand company’s gear features and benefits by providing industry leading customer service.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Maintain high quality listings
  • Take pictures of company products
  • Overseeing the eCommerce inventory
  • Answer customer inquiries
  • Learn product details
  • Leverage current trends and best practices of SEO
  • Other Marketing duties as assigned 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School degree required; pursuit of Marketing/Photography degree preferred
  • Experience and understanding of photography skills
  • Experience with Microsoft suite, primarily Excel
  • Quality communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiar with SEO trends preferred

 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Physically able to lift 35 pounds on a consistent basis.
Degree Requirements
 

  • High School degree required; pursuit of Marketing/Photography degree preferred
