Job Description

Analysis

• Identify information gaps to produce the High-Level Design (HLD)
• Validate technical information for accuracy
• Perform network analysis, such as switch and port configuration analysis, to support HLD

Design

• Create the Network HLD, ensuring it meets requirements for Network Segmentation Point (NSP), security standards, Engineering and Corporate Network Standards
• Identify any exceptions to the standards and provide a rationale to the Project Manager (PM)
• Conduct internal Network Center of Excellence (CoE) peer reviews and obtain authorized approvals
• Conduct technical handovers to the network service provider for smooth transition to Statement of Work (SoW) and Low-Level Design (LLD) stages
• Review and approve network service provider’s SoWs
• Support the network service provider during the LLD stage
• Review, provide feedback, and approve network service provider’s LLDs, ensuring they meet requirements for NSP, security standards, Engineering and Corporate Network Standards

• Assist the PM in technical discussions that require lower-level knowledge
• Provide technical information to the PM or stakeholders as needed
• Deployments, Implementations & Testing (lighter touch activities)
• Provide technical support and guidance to the network service provider, Technical Analysts, and/or PM during implementation approach planning and execution
• Support troubleshooting of technical issues post-deployment if problems persist

Skills and Experience:

• 8 to 10 years of experience in Network Design/Delivery
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong experience with OT networks
• Understanding of OT standards such as IEC62443
• Strong experience with Cisco Wireless, ACI, DNA-C, Palo Alto Networks, SDWAN, Routing
• Domain knowledge in Wireless Design, Site Survey knowledge (Air magnet, Ekahau), dot1x, EAP TLS, Flex connect
• Preferred experience in SDWAN
• Must have hands-on experience in routing, switching, and Firewalls (preferably Palo Alto)
• Strong skills in Route/Switch, Cisco Data Center (Nexus, UCS, and/or Virtualization is a plus) technologies
• Ability to handle service restoration for complex faults (Technology & Solution based) in a LAN, WLAN/WAN environment
• Expertise in network performance monitoring and tuning (SolarWinds, Netflow analysis, deep packet inspection, etc.)
• Intermediate level understanding of Cisco WLAN platforms and associated troubleshooting
• Excellent hands-on troubleshooting and design of Enterprise Network architecture, supporting hierarchical network designs and deployments
• Awareness of network scripting languages such as Python is an advantage
• Ability to simplify complex requirements or solutions
• Possesses the right attitude and logical thinking in approaching requirements/issues

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronics and Communications, Information Technology, or similar field

Rate/Salary: $75/hr – $85/hr
