Specialist, Commercial Innovation & Artist Strategy Contract

Russell Tobin & Associates is helping the world’s leading music company to hire a Commercial Innovation and Artist Strategy Specialist to join their Commercial Innovation and Artist Strategy team!

Pay: $33.68

Duration: 3-month, with opportunity for extension or full time conversion

Location: Santa Monica, CA

Responsibilities:

-Bring a passion for web3 and experience with collecting NFTs

-Perform administrative tasks, such as calendar management, travel and meeting coordination, and meeting agenda development for the EVP, Commercial Innovation & Artist Strategy

-Attend meetings as requested for purposes of creative contribution and/or note taking

-Manage and submit expense reports on a regular basis

-Work directly with Finance teams and liaise with suppliers regarding invoice processing and external supplier set up in company’s system

-Conduct data analysis to inform strategies and distribute insights to executives utilizing both internal and external resources across web2 and web3

-Develop case studies pertaining to web3 projects and initiatives

-Track the primary and secondary sales of digital goods/collections and provide comprehensive sales reports to internal staff

-Assist the Commercial Innovation & Artist Strategy team with copy development and editing

-Develop regular reports and tracking documents pertaining to the performance of assets on web2 and web3 platforms

-Co-design and co-manage project timelines and deliver related assets or materials as needed

-Quality check consumer and partner facing output from the Commercial Innovation & Artist Strategy team prior to release/distribution

-Remain up to date on different features and services offered by web2 and web3 platforms, DSPs, and other relevant entities

-Use information provided by executives and colleagues to create and/or contribute to presentations

-Use internal tools to manage departmental business processes

-Check in on colleagues to ensure timely completion of deliverables, information requests, graphics requests, and the like

-Act as liaison between the EVP, Commercial Innovation & Artist Strategy and a wide array of internal and external contacts

-Provide real-time support for launches and events, both digital and physical, run by the Commercial Innovation & Artist Strategy team

-Conceptualize consumer-facing activations, campaigns, and events as requested

-Update reports with streaming, sales, and playlist information

-Receive and coordinate requests from various labels within the UMG ecosystem

-Organize, prioritize, and execute a wide range of tasks under tight deadlines

-Exhibit creativity and willingness to think outside the box

Education:

-Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)

Skills/Experience:

-Minimum 3 years of related experience in a music entertainment environment

-Copywriting experience and ideating photo/video content

-Expert, native user of social media and web3 platforms

-Proficient in Using a digital wallet and purchasing/trading NFTs

-Proficient with Microsoft Office and iwork

-Project Management experience
