Daily Rate: €390 per day (Umbrella)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our team in Dublin on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and models, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all designs meet project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Technical Drawings: Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models based on project requirements and specifications.

  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with engineers, architects, and other designers to ensure that designs are accurate and feasible.

  • Revise and Update Designs: Modify existing drawings as necessary, incorporating feedback and changes to meet project needs.

  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to industry standards, codes, and regulations in all design work.

  • Detail Specifications: Include accurate measurements, materials, and technical details in all drawings.

  • Participate in Design Reviews: Engage in team meetings to discuss design improvements and address any issues.

  • Manage CAD Files: Organize and maintain digital files, ensuring proper version control and accessibility.

  • Assist in Prototyping: Use CAD software to create models for testing and analysis.

  • Provide Technical Support: Offer assistance in resolving design-related issues during manufacturing or construction phases.

  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of advancements in CAD technology and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: A degree or diploma in Computer-Aided Design, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

  • Experience: Proven experience as a CAD Designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in 2D and 3D design.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.

  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all design work.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
