Java Developer – NYC Contract

The position is an opportunity to engage, design and develop using latest technology architectures & API model. This is position will be involved in all phases of SDLC such as requirements gathering, designing, developing, testing and supporting the application in production. This position can be fulltime or contract.

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Software, or related field of study
• 3+ years of experience in development using enterprise level Java 8 and higher development
• Experience in distributed caching solutions
• Experience with test driven development using Junit/cucumber
• Proficient in ANSI SQL
• Extensive experience in Spring boot, Spring Cloud
• Experience in stream processing with Kafka

Nice to Have

• Experience in Sybase/DB2 database products
• Experience in agile methodologies
• Experience with CI/CD framework
• Experience in Front end technology like Angular, HTML
• Background in financial technology/ Portfolio Accounting system
