Technical Architect Contract

Technical Architect – Milton Keynes – £800 per day inside IR35 – DV (vetting slot available for non-cleared candidates) – 12 months

 Job Summary:

We’re currently seeking experienced and ambitious Technical Architect to work with our exceptional client , a world class brand in a secure environment to drive major business transformation and process change (both cultural and technical) across this complex organization.

Responsibilities:

• Work with other members of the architecture/project teams and customers to design real world infrastructure/application architecture solutions to meet the business and customer requirements.
• Interface with customers to fully understand their business drivers and requirements
• Develop detailed technical designs, producing a range of documents including high level & low level designs
• Production of technical options, assessing the merits of different implementation approached and providing recommendations
• Ensuring appropriate technology selections are made and architectural principals are maintained; market investigation and experimentation where required
• Ensure infrastructure/application architecture designs align with the Technical Authorities’ technology and the organisation’s business plan
• Contributing to the development of Impact assessments, commercial proposals and project delivery plans.
• Participating in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate network designs and validate proposed solutions
• Understanding of architectural frameworks and methodologies (TOGAF, MODAF, DODAF, INCOSE, UML, EA, Zachman, COBIT, UML)
